Reservation :
Reservation can be made online or by phone. In either case, it will not be considered final until a deposit of 30% is received.
Any person reserving at the Lion d'Or understands and accepts these general sales conditions.
Réservation cancellation deadline :
Cancellations not permitted after 2 weeks prior to arrival and any deposit will be forfeited. This will apply in any instance apart from death of close family member, or serious accident.
Cancellation by Le Lion d'Or :
A reservation cancellation may be sent by us through email or post for the following reasons :
Grave illness or physical incapacity of either owner or of their children of a long duration, in which case notice will be given 1 month in advance along with refund of deposit.
Destruction by fire or intemperate weather conditions such as storms or other climactic occurrences harmful to the hotel security. All deposits will be refunded.
Water or electrical interruptions causing the impossibility of running our establishment. Without prior notice, all deposits refunded.
The sale of Lion d'Or by the owners. In this case 2 months notice will be given along with return of any deposits.
Strikes or demonstrations by any groups which could affect the security of guests. Without prior notice, all deposits refunded.
Rates :
85€ per room for 1or 2 persons, continental breakfast included.
Supplement of 4€ per person for full breakfast.
Payment :
Payment of deposit must be made by check or bank transfer. When payment is received, your reservation will be confirmed.
Final payment :
Final payment will be made the night before departure from Le Lion d'Or.
You will receive a bill at the end of your stay including any supplements incurred, i.e., dinner, picnic baskets prepared, etc...
Any loss or damage will billed separately.
Arrival and departure :
We are available for check-in between 17:00 and 19:00 the day of your arrival. Please let us know if you are going to be late.
In the case of non-arrival, your reservation will be cancelled, the deposit will be non-refundable, and your room may be re-rented.
Rooms must be vacated by 11:00 if not otherwise arranged. However, you may have lunch with us the day of departure, by reservation and according to availability.
In case of early departure, there will be no refund for the period reserved.
Use of the premises :
By accepting these general conditions, all guests agree to respect the quiet peaceful nature of Le Lion d'Or, and to respect this quiet enjoyment for all guests.
All guests agree to leave the room as it was found upon check-in, and to advise us and be financially responsible for any damages incurred.
It is strictly forbidden to smoke inside the Lion d'Or.
PETS
All well behaved dogs are welcome.
Breakfast :
Breakfast is served in the dining room or on the terrace between 09:00 and 10:00.
Lunch :
Lunch will be served starting at 12 noon in the dining room or on the terrace according to weather. Reservation is obligatory.
Picnic baskets must be reserved no later than the night before.
Dîner :
Dinner is served starting at 19:00 in the dining room or outside on the terrace weather permitting. Reservation is obligatory.
Swimming pool :
The pool is open for the enjoyment of our guests from 07:00 to 20:00, or later with our agreement.
For reasons of hygiene, anyone suffering from a skin disorder or open wound may not use the pool.
Housekeeping :
Housekeeping will be provided only upon your departure except for stays exceeding 2 nights when we will refresh the room. Sheets will be changed regularly, and towels each day.
Environmentally respectful, however, we request that you conserve your towels for stays not exceeding 3 days.
Insurance :
Guests at our B&B are covered by our civil responsibly insurance policy.
Confidentiality :
According to the law of January 6, 1978, you may consult and correct any and all information which concerns you. We will in no case share your information with any third party. ( except in case of dispute.)
Disputes :
In case payment is refused, the client will be responsible for all bank fees. Disputes may only be resolved by the Bergerac tribunal.
