Terms & Conditions of Sales

1. Scope of Application These General Terms and Conditions of Sale, "GTC", govern all sales of stays made via the website www.le-lion-dor.com, by email to contact@le-lion-dor.com, or directly by telephone. Each customer, referred to as the "guest", acknowledges having read and accepted these GTC prior to any reservation made by themselves or by a third party (particularly in the case of a "gift voucher"). These GTC are available to the customer or host upon written request or directly on the website www.le-lion-dor.com. 2. Booking Conditions All reservations made directly, via gift vouchers, or on a platform are nominative. They cannot be transferred to a third party without our prior approval. The reservation is confirmed after our agreement and is subject to receipt of a deposit of at least 30% of the total cost of the stay. The deposit payment is made by bank transfer, bank check, holiday voucher, or cash.

Each accommodation, room or cabin has a maximum capacity of 2 adults . Children over 16 years of age are accepted provided they are accompanied by an adult. For safety reasons, due to a lack of equipment, and to ensure customer well-being,   Children are not accepted.

3. Rates - Payment
The rate for your stay is quoted in euros, inclusive of all taxes; the tourist tax is not included. No price reduction will be granted in the event of late arrival or early departure. A deposit of 30% of the stay is required at the time of booking. The balance of the accommodation is payable the day before or the day of departure from LION DOR. An invoice will be issued at the end of your stay, including any additional charges (table d'hôte, picnic basket, drinks, shop items).
We accept payments by Credit Card, bank transfer, checks, holiday vouchers or cash.

Any damage or loss will also be subject to an additional charge.

4. Security Deposit
For stays in cabins rented under the "gîte" (self-catering) scheme, a security deposit of €300, payable by check or cash, will be required from the client upon arrival. This deposit will cover the costs of replacing any damaged or missing equipment during the cleaning and restoration of the premises.

5. Pets
Upon prior request, your category 3 dog weighing less than 25 kg is welcome provided it is clean, sociable, and vaccinated. Dogs must be kept on a leash on the LE LION DOR property and must never be left unattended in the room or cabin.


6. Reservation cancellation
- by the client or "host": If cancellation occurs less than 15 calendar days before the start date of your stay, you will not be entitled to a refund of the deposit paid at the time of booking, for any reason whatsoever, except in cases of serious circumstances (first-degree death in the family, serious accident, etc.). A flat cancellation fee of €10 will be charged regardless of the cancellation date. - by LE LION DOR: We may cancel your reservation by email or mail for the following non-exhaustive list of reasons: With 15 calendar days' notice and a refund of the deposit: Serious illness or disability of one or both owners and/or their children. With 2 months' notice and a refund of the deposit in the event of the sale of the LE LION DOR estate by its owners. Without notice and with a refund of the deposit: Significant strike action or public uprising in the municipality that jeopardizes customer safety, damage to the premises due to fire or severe weather such as storms or other climatic phenomena that endanger guests' safety, water and/or electricity outages for a given period making it impossible to rent a room or cabin.

7. Arrival and Departure
We welcome you on your arrival day between 5 pm and 7 pm . Guests agree to notify LE LION DOR of any late arrival a few hours prior. After 8 pm, if a guest has not arrived and has not informed LE LION DOR of this delay, the establishment reserves the right to re-let the room or cabin and retain the booking deposit. Departure is before 11am.

8. Use of the premises
The guest agrees to respect the peaceful nature of the LION DOR and to preserve the tranquility of the other residents. Guests must return the room or cabin in perfect condition at the end of their stay and agree to report and be financially responsible for any damage for which they may be liable. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all rooms and cabins at LION DOR. Free, unguarded private parking is available to each guest at the entrance to the property. LION DOR cannot be held responsible for theft or damage to vehicles. 9. Breakfast, Packed Lunches, and Table d'hôtes (Dinners) Breakfast is served from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. It may be served earlier on weekdays for business travelers.

  • For guests staying in a room, breakfast is served directly in the room or on its terrace, in our lounge and on the terrace depending on the week and the season.
  • For guests staying in cabins, breakfast is served directly in the cabin.

Guests wishing to enjoy the "Table d'hôtes" service or order packed lunches must book at least 48 hours in advance with the owners and receive prior confirmation from LION DOR. Depending on the season, the "Table d'hôtes" service is available between 7:30 pm and 8:30 pm directly in the accommodations or on private or shared terraces. 10. Swimming Pool and Spa: Access to the swimming pool is reserved exclusively for LION DOR guests from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm and is prohibited for animals. For hygiene reasons, individuals with skin conditions or open wounds are not permitted to swim. Eating by the pool is also prohibited.

The hot tubs on the terraces of each cabin are for private use. Before bathing, guests must shower and avoid using body oils and creams. Pregnant women should not remain in hot water for more than 10 minutes. Jumping and eating in the hot tub are prohibited. 11. Housekeeping Housekeeping is provided upon your arrival. For stays longer than 2 nights, we will offer to refresh your room. Bed linens are changed regularly, and towels can be changed daily upon request. Out of respect for the environment, our guests may choose to keep the same towels for stays of up to 3 days. 12. Insurance & Liability Guests of LE LION DOR are required to have liability insurance. LE LION DOR cannot be held liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings anywhere on the property, whether inside or outside the facilities. If a host causes bodily injury or property damage, their civil liability may be sought for compensation.

13. Confidentiality
In accordance with the law of 6 January 1978, you have the right to access and rectify data concerning you. LE LION DOR undertakes not to disclose to any third party the information you have entrusted to it (except in the event of a dispute). 14. Disputes In the event of a payment rejection, the customer will bear the bank charges billed to LE LION DOR related to this rejection. In the event of a dispute, only the court of Bergerac will have jurisdiction.
